I know it’s been a while, but work has certainly kept me on my toes.
Happy to announce the release or yet another masterpiece by myself and the Braa Conspiracy. ‘Take me to your Mothership’ a 4 song EP exploring the many realms of abstract, funky pop and soul.
As usual, it was a joy working with Kai and Christian. They are masters of their craft and legends in the field. Honoured. pick up your copy here:
Along with further writing collaborations with Sony records and a whole host of new, up and coming artists, 2014 saw another evolution in my career. Myself, along with Chris Brown (Fugi Roc), Jazzie B and the rest of the Soul2oul team, took our live set to a whole new level. With Fugiroc now the MD, we welcomed a fresh new approach to our live performances. Furthermore, with the addition of Brian Henry on Keys and the one and only Julien Brown on Drums, the energy in the new live set is amazing!
The highlight of the new set? for me? obviously having one of my songs included in the Soul2Soul set, me taking lead vocal and getting the opportunity to perform to crowds of thousands…worldwide!
South Africa was amazing, And we ended 2014 with a New Years Eve show at Edinburgh’s Hogomay festival. Sublime.
So onto 2015.
Well, we start the year with a intimate show in Metropolis studios. I am also working on the release of ‘Make Me High’, my new single which we are currently promoting. Have a listen here:
We have a remix caribbean flava remix, which JazzieB organised and is currently playing on his radio show.
A whole string of performances, a video shoot and I have just been asked to host a new exciting Jam night at London’s Troubadour. Starting 29th March, so keep your eyes and ears open for more info on that.
Until then guys, keep in touch and thanks for the unconditional love and support.
Stay humble, stay blessed
